The connection between your sleeping position and love life
The way you walk, talk and conduct yourself every day reveal a lot about your body language and in turn, your personality. But did you know that your sleeping position is also an indicator of your body language and reveals a few things about your love life. In fact, many relationship experts and psychologists agree with this idea and the Internet is full of studies on this subject. To help you understand your relationship better, here are a few sleeping positions of couples and what these say about your love life.
This position is sweet and romantic but it indicates that one of the partners is really protective of the other. The body language experts suggest that this position is sεχual in nature and indicates immense trust between the partners.
You sleep in back-to-back position without physical contact
If your back faces your partner’s back and there is no physical contact between both, it is actually a good thing! The couple who sleep in opposite directions indicates that they are connected and secure in their relationship. It shows that they respect each other’s personal space and are independent beings.
Back-to-back position with physical contact
If you both sleep in opposite direction but your backs or butts touch each other’s, studies indicate it shows comfort between the partners. Also, this position is common in newer couples (who have been together for less than a year) than the ones who have been together for years.
If one of the partners dominates the entire bed and the other one hardly gets any space to sleep, it is not a good sign! It is an indicator that your relationship might be going through a rough patch and one of you overpowers (and is selfish by nature) the other.
Arms and legs entwined
If you and your partner sleep with legs and arms tangled, it indicates that the couple is too dependent on each other and are in fact clingy. The position indicates the couple can’t get enough of each other and like to do every little thing together.
Head on chest
If one partner places his or her head on the other partner’s chest, it indicates self-assurance. It also shows that you both care for each other and is common in new relationships.
