It might make your baby smarter.
As previously mentioned in this article, almonds can improve brain activity. Eating 74 grams of almonds a week might make your baby smarter, according to a study carried out by Spanish scientists who observed 2,208 pregnant women. Children were then monitored when they were 1, 5, and 8 years old. Kids whose moms ate almonds during pregnancy scored higher on their IQ tests.
Bonus: raw, soaked or roasted almonds?
According to ayurvedic medicine, both raw and roasted almonds contain the same nutrients and thus, have the same benefits. On the other hand, soaking almonds overnight and peeling them can help reduce their tannin levels. Oral sources indicate that if ingested in great quantities, tannins might prevent nutrient absorption, but recent studies have found no evidence supporting this.
If you consume almonds on a regular basis, you’re probably familiar with these benefits. Have you noticed any other bodily changes when eating almonds? How do you eat your almonds?
