Someone showing romantic interest doesn’t mean their intentions are good. Since I had zero experience until I was an adult, I had to learn the hard way, via being used and abused multiple times, what behavior was acceptable, what was unacceptable, and when to pull the plug on a relationship. @DJSparksalot
I went from a healthy weight, to obese, and I am back to healthy. It’s definitely made me appreciate my looks more. I used to HATE having my picture taken when I was at a healthy weight, then lamented while I was obese that I barely had any pictures of myself when I was healthy. Now I take every picture opportunity I can get, and enjoy how I look in the mirror. @throwitawaydaybyday
I wasn’t obese but I lost 30 lbs (from 150 to 120) and oh my god I have cheekbones now! @starglitter
I posted a before and after Instagram photo and on Monday one of my coworkers said to me, “It’s crazy because I don’t remember you being that overweight!” and I couldn’t decide if I was flattered or insulted. @ItalicSlope
I lost over 90 pounds last year and what surprised me most is I forgot to calculate for shrinking underwear. It cost a bundle to replace, but was incentive to keep the weight off, which I did! Oh. And my shoe size went down one size. That is pretty common as well. @suspect309
Lost 67 pounds, and some unexpected fun stuff happened:
— Was running with my friends once and a group of girls drove up and cat called us and my friends said “That was for you.”
— Went on dates with some of the most attractive girls during this time.
— Took much longer for me to realize I am now fit, constantly surprised that attractive girls want to hang out.
— Looking good is half the battle. Being fun to be around and having a good sense of humor goes a long way. It was very hard to understand that attractive girls may feel nervous as well. @benbraddock2002
How much I disliked the people who were suddenly nice to me, and there were a lot of them. My kids wouldn’t cuddle with me because I wasn’t “soft” anymore. @Toyslinger
I lost 85 lbs last year. I’m constantly surprised at how I CRAVE water. Before I would never drink water. I’d drink milk, juice, and occasionally soda but never water. But now my body screams for water. I’m not talking I just get thirsty. I desperately NEED water, and now I’m one of those people that constantly needs to have a water bottle on me. @SeattleTrashPanda
Maybe people you know have had the same experience? We would love to find out!
